Procurement Analyst – Indirect Spend

Based at Support Office | Full-time opportunity

This is a high-impact role focused on delivering measurable cost savings, improving supplier performance, and driving value for money through robust analysis, strategic sourcing, and proactive contract management. You’ll play a critical part in supporting our growth and sustainability goals while ensuring operational efficiency across all stores and support functions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing

  • Consolidate spend across high-value categories with a centralised approach
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, demand management, and supplier rationalisation
  • Develop and implement category plans and sourcing strategies
  • Lead and support end-to-end tender and renewal processes (RFP/RFQ)
  • Ensure all sourcing aligns with internal sustainability benchmarks

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct spend analysis to identify savings and efficiency gaps
  • Analyse market trends, pricing, and performance data to support sourcing decisions
  • Develop procurement dashboards, KPIs, and cost-saving tracking reports

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Maintain a central contract register with key terms and expiry dates
  • Support regular supplier performance reviews and contract compliance
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service delivery improvements
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Develop supplier risk and continuity management plans

Cost Management & Value Delivery

  • Deliver cost savings against annual procurement targets
  • Review existing supplier structures and challenge cost/service assumptions
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting across indirect spend
  • Partner with stores, sustainability and support teams to unlock innovation and efficiencies

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Support the application of procurement policies and best practices
  • Ensure procurement is compliant with legislation and internal frameworks
  • Promote sourcing consistency across all departments
  • Manage risk and build supply chain contingency plans
  • Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes

Consumables Efficiency Projects

  • Develop efficient usage programs for store consumables (e.g. fatigue mats, register rolls, fitout items)
  • Standardise consumables ordering for new store builds and remodels

About You

You’re commercially astute with a strategic mindset, passionate about driving efficiencies, and confident navigating data, people and processes. You’re also not afraid to have the tough conversations to get the best results for the business.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in procurement (FMCG, retail or production environment preferred)
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP and BI/Data Warehouse experience a bonus
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable sourcing
