We’re now looking for two energetic and reliable Casual Animal Attendants to join our Brisbane team, located right near Brisbane Airport, for our busy June/July school holiday peak period.
Please note: These roles are specifically to support our peak holiday boarding period. Increased hours will be available throughout June and July, however hours are expected to significantly reduce following the school holidays, with no guaranteed ongoing shifts.
Successful applicants must have availability across Monday–Sunday and be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week during the peak period, including weekends, public holidays, and some early starts from 7am.

What you’ll be doing:
- Caring for boarding and daycare pets through feeding, cleaning, exercise, and enrichment
- Supervising dogs and managing behaviours to maintain safety and wellbeing
- Frequent cleaning and upkeep of kennels, play yards, and facility areas to maintain high hygiene standards
- Conducting basic health checks and general animal husbandry tasks
- Providing friendly customer service to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up
- Supporting your team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
What we’re looking for:
- Genuine animal lovers who enjoy hands-on work
- Availability across Monday–Sunday, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to reliably work a minimum of 15 hours per week during the peak period
- Flexibility to pick up additional shifts at short notice when required
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport (essential)
- Comfortable working in a loud, busy, and physically demanding environment with lots of dogs and constant activity
- Physically fit and confident handling dogs of all sizes
- Previous animal care, pet retail, kennel, daycare, or vet clinic experience is highly regarded
- Animal Studies or Companion Animal qualifications (completed or in progress) are desirable but not essential
- Positive, reliable team players with strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Please note: This is a physically active role that requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, and handle animals throughout the day. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions and can be fast-paced, noisy, and physically demanding during peak periods.
