The Opportunity
As an experienced Senior People Business Partner, you’re ready to roll up your sleeves as our People team build a best-in-market Px across Hamilton Locke. Reporting into the Head of People, this is a diverse senior generalist position, working across a wide range of People activities and projects.
Working closely with senior leaders as a trusted business partner, you will utilise your commercial, strategic and nonlinear thinking to translate business priorities into people strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with business priorities.
- Lead workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
- Support leadership development and change management efforts.
- Analyse & utilise internal and market data to identify trends and drive insights-based decisions, including providing reporting as required.
- Manager complex employee relations issues, including coaching and guiding managers and employees.
- Collaborate with the broader People team on key initiatives and projects.
- Assist all employee life-cycle events including drafting employment contracts and in employment conditions
- Overseeing the new employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Providing timely advice to partners and employees
- Drafting and updating policies and procedures
- Leading key cyclical activities, for example annual performance & growth reviews.
- Supporting leaders in performance management

What we’re looking for:
- A senior and experienced People Business Partner, ideally in professional services (however this isn’t essential).
- Degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing complex employee relations issues.
- Proactive and results driven mentality, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Proactive and results driven mentality, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Autonomous in working style, however a natural collaborator who enjoys knowledge sharing across the team.
