Tired of the bureaucracy and politics of big firms, but still want to work on high-quality transactions?

Looking to join a diverse, collaborative team that values enthusiasm, hard work - and having fun along the way?

The Role

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Associate to join our rapidly growing, national Finance practice, led by Zina Edwards. Zina is an experienced finance and restructuring lawyer with a strong focus on Australia’s fast-growing alternative lending market.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and advise on complex, high-value transactions involving onshore and offshore credit funds, asset managers, and other non-bank lenders. Matters will span structured finance and hybrid transactions, venture debt and growth finance, restructuring, and special situations.

You’ll play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers, helping shape the strategic direction of the practice, and contributing to client relationship management and business development initiatives.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Currently practising as a Senior Associate (or ready to step into that role) in a Banking & Finance practice
  • Genuinely passionate about complex problem-solving and thinking commercially and creatively
  • Eager to play a visible role in the firm’s growth and business development
  • Looking for a supportive, high-performing team culture that values collaboration & diversity.
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative, with the confidence to help build and lead.
