The role

As a result of Hamilton Locke’s continued growth and unique Px offering, we have a newly created Human Resources Business Partner position. This is an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner who is enthusiastic, hard working and fun to join our collaborative and high performing People team.

Reporting into the Head of People, you will work closely with key internal stakeholders (Group Leadership and Hamilton Locke Partners) who will look to you for commercial and insightful guidance. With a clean sheet of paper, you will have the opportunity to utilise your expertise in a consultative and innovative manner to make a marked impact on the business.

You will be responsible for:

Delivering a wide range of Human Resources activities, including the opportunity to take the lead in running projects and initiatives across the firm as required. Some of these duties include:

  • Processing employee life-cycle events from onboarding to offboarding, including drafting employment contracts.
  • Involvement in the design and implementation of the firm’s new onboarding process.
  • Provide strategic HR advice on all things people-related including employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Assisting with drafting and updating policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with the annual remuneration and talent reviews.
  • Coordinating and leading the firm’s National Graduate Program.
  • Case management of WHS incidents
  • Assisting the HR team with projects and tasks as required.
  • Providing reporting and analytic support in alignment with strategic goals and objectives.

About you

You have a strong background in Human Resources, with experience managing employee relations issues. Experience in an organisation where growth and pipeline has been a focus is highly regarded as well as experience in a professional service environment.
