The role

We’re looking for a Senior Associate to join our market leading, Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners ranked Corporate Practice. You will have the opportunity to work across the Sydney corporate partnership, as part of a collaborative and high performing team. Our approach is to offer you broad work and development opportunities, yet also providing you with the ability to specialise in what you are genuinely passionate about.

Our Corporate team was recently ranked 6th in the Mergermarket M&A Rankings Report 2023, for the highest deal count in Australia. In just one year, we’ve made a remarkable leap from 13th to 6th place for legal advisors in Australia, and a top 20 ranking for the highest deal count in the Asia-Pacific (excl. Japan).

With work in the domestic and international market, you will advise corporations, private equity sponsors, founders and management, in all forms of corporate activity across a wide range of industries.

We’re looking for someone

  • with 4+ years’ experience in a leading private practice environment; 
  • who has strong Corporate M&A experience;
  • who has experience acting for private equity funds on investments/divestments;
  • with a genuine passion for Corporate law; 
  • who wants a fantastic team culture;
  • who wants to work directly with a senior practitioner;
  • who wants to accelerate their career by working in a leading, growing, national M&A team; and
