Are you tired of the bureaucracy and politics of big firms? We’re looking for an experienced Lawyer to join our rapidly expanding team. We are a flexible, diverse group, and are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, agile and fun.

This is a Lawyer position working with Mihai Pascariu. Mihai’s attention to detail and passion for his craft has led him to be involved in some of New Zealand’s most complex corporate governance and cross-border matters.

Mihai’s specific expertise is in dispute resolution, corporate governance, banking law, security enforcement, restructuring and insolvency and Commerce Commission regulatory investigations.

We’re looking for someone:

  • with 3+ years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution;
  • with technology expertise;
  • who has a strong sense of purpose, ambition, confidence and a proactive approach to your work;
  • with a desire to work with existing and new clients on business growth; and
  • friendly, with a sense of humour, down to earth/authentic, who is also hard working, focused and ambitious.

Our people experience

Hamilton Locke is a law firm with a difference working to evolve the traditional business model. We have built a high-growth, people-centric business that maximises our 'people experience' (PX) and believe this delivers the best 'client experience' (CX). We foster a vibrant culture, putting our people at the forefront of everything we do.

We are agile and flexible in our approach, with innovative state-of-the-art systems and technology that frees up our team from bureaucracy and administration. We actively develop a culture that supports employee health, wellness and development.

Put simply, we have created a work environment based on respect, trust, development, collaboration and innovation. This allows our people to grow and be the best version of themselves. In turn, this enables our people to do their best work, which ultimately makes our clients happy. This is a win-win-win.

We put our people’s experience at the centre of everything we do.

We are more than just a law firm.
