The Associate Mechanical Assembler working under general supervision, you will perform a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of explosive products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing.

  • Pay Rate: Up to $17.75/hour, depending on experience.
  • Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm | 40-hrs shift | Overtime Required

Responsibilities:

  • This role also involves working on large equipments such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers/cowlings, and related connecting lines.
  • Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, and adjusting during the assembly process.
  • Conduct operational testing of assembled components and equipment.
  • Execute a variety of assembly operations for explosive products and mechanical parts.
  • Assemble large-scale equipment, including drive trains, compressors, and control systems.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of related assembly experience (skills typically acquired through this duration).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high-speed output while ensuring all components meet rigorous quality standards.
  • Expert at prioritizing tasks and minimizing downtime between production steps to maximize efficiency.
  • Proven track record of maintaining a steady, consistent workflow to meet or exceed daily production quotas.
  • Highly adaptable mindset with a willingness to assist in various departments or stages of production as needed.
  • Committed to maintaining a respectful, collaborative, and professional attitude in fast-paced environments.
  • Available and prepared for required overtime to ensure customer demands and shipping deadlines are met.
  • Proactive approach to personal scheduling to ensure 100% availability and punctuality for all assigned shifts.
