Senior Mechanical Engineer (Onsite: Spring, TX)

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is recognized as a technical expert and mentors others on engineering design and techniques by incorporating Health, Safety, and Environment processes.

• Pay Rate: $70.00/hour
• Assignment Length: 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and enhance new products and services.
• Utilize the latest calculation methods to solve complex system equations, improving the scope, accuracy, and efficiency of internal methodologies.
• Design and implement new testing procedures and equipment, creating novel testing concepts where no precedent exists.
• Play a significant role in expanding Halliburton’s Intellectual Property portfolio through patents, publications, and presentations.
• Actively participate in and contribute to professional societies, providing leadership and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with 13 years of relevant experience. A master's or doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is preferred.
• Recognized as an expert within the technology community, both internally and externally.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to identify and integrate opportunities across various disciplines.
• Experience in open hole packer design, technical advising, and providing operational support.
