Software Developer (Onsite: Duncan, OK)

The Software Developer under broad direction, is recognized as a technical expert and a leader in the industry.

• Pay Rate: $80.00/hour
• Assignment Length: 12-months with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direction for the technical software architecture and serve as a corporate resource, offering technical advice to management for long-range planning in new or projected software application areas.
• Design, research, and develop new applications and major enhancements, ensuring a strong technical focus in product planning for a complete software system.
• Offer expert guidance to developers and support staff, acting as a gatekeeper of technology by communicating and educating staff about current and future technology directions.
• Participate with management, product lines, and customers in developing new applications and technologies, contributing directly to value creation.
• Establish and maintain communications with external technology efforts, including industry and academic consortia.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is required.
• A minimum of 16 years of related experience or 20 years in software development, with a focus on leading software development projects at a systems level.
• Demonstrated experience in providing Technical Excellence Leadership.
