The QA/QC Inspector under direct supervision, responsible for performing quality evaluations on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions. 

  • Pay Rate: Up to $27.00/hour, depending on experience
  • Assignment Length: 2-year contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: Day shift | 8-hours

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections of various operations activities to ensure compliance.
  • Identify and report non-conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods.
  • Perform final adjustments as required during the inspection process.
  • Generate reports of conditions found during inspection activities and complete documentation necessary to attest to the satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.
  • Notify operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of any significant problems identified.
  • Conduct magnetic particle and penetrant testing of parts and manage the initiation and processing of non-conformance reports as required.
  • Assure that all products and processes represent the desired quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability levels.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
  • 3–5 years of experience, including Quality and/or Industry experience, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in drawing interpretation.
  • Expertise in component identification.
  • Ability to perform soldering evaluations.
  • Highly dependable and flexible.
  • Proven ability to be a strong team player.
