Material Coordinator I (Onsite: Houston, TX)

The Material Coordinator I under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.

• Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: Day Shift | 8-hours | Overtime

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
• Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with ERP systems; proficiency in SAP is highly preferred.
• Experience in an operations environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of handheld scanners and lift truck operations.
• Proficient in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and reach trucks.
• Experience utilizing mobile scanners and other standard warehouse equipment to maintain operational accuracy.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes, accuracy, and best practices.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately follow both verbal and written instructions to ensure safety and workflow efficiency.
