Senior Accountant - Direct Hire (Onsite: Houston, TX)

The Senior Accountant under general supervision, applies knowledge of the company's business systems, business processes and controls, including policies and procedures, relative to the location and department assigned.

• Salary: $105,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

• Perform activities involving complex accounting reports and analyses, utilizing spreadsheets and various applications.
• Prepare and post journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions.
• Review and monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues and transactions, including related internal controls.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial results, providing variance explanations.
• Participate in multi-functional teams and develop project management skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting-related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of organizational structure and core business operations.
• Proficiency in general accounting, internal controls, company policy, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and financial applications.
• Intermediate level of industry and company acumen.
