The Electrical Assembler working under limited supervision, assembles instrument components and sub-components, electro-mechanical and hydraulic well logging assemblies and sub-assemblies, or electronic hybrid circuits.
- Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour, depending on experience.
- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: Monday - Friday |8-hour |Overtime
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to perform complex assembly, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. This role requires the ability to interpret technical documentation and utilize specialized tools to ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in both electrical and mechanical systems, capable of working independently with precision and punctuality.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and other technical documents.
- Utilize high or low-temperature soldering processes, fitting/mounting, alignment, adjusting, and operational testing.
- Perform comprehensive repairs as required to ensure equipment functionality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills typically acquired through 5 years of related assembly experience; some years of additional experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Competency in performing light soldering tasks.
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proven ability to perform tasks successfully with minimal supervision.
- Highly punctual with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Some college education focused in the electrical field is preferred.
