DME Inspector III under general supervision of the DME Coordinator, this role is to inspect, maintain, and rebuild a variety of Discharge Manifold Equipment (DME).
- Pay Rate: $43.43/hour
- Assignment Length: 1 year with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: Standard hours | 40 hours per week | 5 days
Responsibilities
- Ensure all duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, adhering to Halliburton DME standards and guidelines.
- Conduct inspections independently to ASNT II Standards (or Equivalent) and sign off on final QA/QC, acting as the senior Inspector on location.
- Issue and sign off on final qualification certificates, ensuring compliance with Halliburton, customer, and government standards.
- Perform DME re-qualification inspections to meet required standards.
- Mentor and guide DME Techs I, II & III, and DME Inspector I & II, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in oilfield operations, including at least 5 years in the inspection of Discharge Manifold Equipment to ASNT II (or Equivalent).
- Current qualification to ASNT II (or Equivalent) for UT, MT, VT, and PT is required.
- Secondary/High School diploma is required.
- Completion of necessary hours in each discipline, demonstrating competence in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) criteria: UT (Limited Qualification) 40 hrs., PT 280 hrs., VT 140 hrs., MT 210 hrs., with a minimum of 520 hrs. in NDT.
- Proficiency in ASNT II (or Equivalent) Visual (VT), Ultrasonic wall thickness (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspections (MT), and high-pressure hydrostatic Test (PT).
- Strong understanding of document and record control, with an analytical approach to tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
