The Field Professional, II under general supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
- Pay Rate: $27.00 - $30.00/hour, depending on experience
- Assignment Length: 12-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 40 Hrs | Plus possible overtime and some weekends
- Additional Information: Per Diem: $25, Mileage reimbursement: 0.70/mi from stockpoint
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Deliver exceptional well site service to Baroid customers.
- Apply advanced knowledge of colloidal and general chemistry, volume and hydraulics calculations, and conduct routine and specialized testing in diverse field settings.
- Provide guidance and facilitate formal training for fluid service representatives on company products, services, and drilling fluid technology to optimize service quality.
- Conduct and interpret routine and specialized testing to offer technical guidance on Baroid's customized engineering fluids, maximizing wellbore value.
- Track material usage and maintain records for inventory and billing purposes.
- Foster strong working relationships with operator representatives and rig personnel, assisting in operations planning and drilling optimization.
- Support well planning and business delivery activities, review well recaps for accuracy, and mentor Field Service Representatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all job aspects.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; an undergraduate degree in any discipline is preferred.
- Completion of mud training at Halliburton and a minimum of 10 years in fluid services.
- Proficient in WellSite 20/20 and DFG software.
- Successful completion of a math test is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Fluid Service Representative role.
- Experience in an operations environment is preferred.
- Preferably 5+ years of experience in East Texas or Louisiana.
- Strong computer skills, including inventory management experience.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a self-starter attitude.
- Effective communication skills.
