The Electrical Assembler working under limited supervision, assembles instrument components and sub-components, electro-mechanical and hydraulic well logging assemblies and sub-assemblies, or electronic hybrid circuits.
- Pay Rate: Up to $21.00/hour, depending on experience.
- Assignment Length: 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 1st shift | 8:00 am - 2:30 pm (but needs to be flexible)
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, focusing on high-level assembly and technical maintenance of PCBs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with significant experience in soldering and schematic interpretation, capable of maintaining high standards during workload fluctuations.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform duties including high or low temperature soldering processes, fitting/mounting, alignment, and adjusting.
- Execute operational testing and perform necessary repairs on components.
- Handle staking and coating for PCBs, as well as reworking PCBs.
- Apply general PCB knowledge and experience to daily tasks.
- Utilize a variety of tools, including staking applicators, small cutting tools, ESD safety devices, and computers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills typically acquired through 5 years of related assembly experience.
- Proficient in PCB staking, coating, and precision reworking.
- Must have a general PCB knowledge and experience.
- Ability to remain flexible through workload fluctuations.
- Demonstrated proactive communication (shares when they need support).
- Maintains positivity; must be excited and willing to work collaboratively with others.
