The Frac - Operator Assistant II under strict supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac- specific job roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC, etc... ).

  • Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
  • Rotation Details: 14 days on, 7 days off |13 - 16 hours shift| days and nights
  • Assignment Length: 4 month contract with a high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
  • Support the clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
  • Exhibit safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complying with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Participate in quality and continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Skills acquired through on-the-job training and 3-6 months of experience as an Operator Assistant I.
  • Completion of requisite training and demonstration of competency as defined for the current and next level.
  • Basic understanding of operations, including performing pre/post job equipment inspections, completing preventative maintenance procedures, and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, discharge manifold equipment, etc.).
  • Strong reading comprehension and writing skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
