The Service Operator I under direct supervision, rigs-up and rigs-down of service equipment, learns to complete documents, reports, and forms in support of the service performed.

  • Pay Rate: Up to $22.14/hour, depending on experience.
  • Assignment Length: 6-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: 12.5 + hr shift| 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
  • Additional Information: Per Diem: $25/day, Mileage: $.70 Mile capped at 500 miles one direction, Housing provided: either onsite or hotel

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training on the operation of equipment, including shale shakers, screen changes, centrifuges, cuttings handling/slurrification systems, and vacuum/pressure washing systems.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
  • Actively participate in the quality improvement process and promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six months experience is required.
  • Drivers License and Safeland certifications are required.
  • Commitment to working demanding, extended shifts (12+ hours per day).
  • Completion of specific Baroid training is preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and possess basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred for data entry and documentation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with basic hand tools.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and awareness.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and quickly retain technical knowledge.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (including basic reading comprehension).
