The Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, under general supervision, performs routine aircraft maintenance, inspections, servicing, cleaning, and repair support activities to ensure aircraft are maintained in a safe, airworthy, and operational condition. This role supports both preventative and corrective maintenance efforts while adhering to company procedures and aviation safety standards.
- Pay Rate: Up to $40.00/hour, depending on experience
- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 20 to 30 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and duties to include:
- Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the corporate aircraft
- Ensure aircraft supplies are replenished and inventory kept
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians
- Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the departmental and executive vehicles
- Ensure all aircraft are properly stocked for all flights
- Assists in installing, servicing, and repairing of equipment related to Property Management.
- Completes plant maintenance documents, maintains tools and equipment, and performs clean-up and housekeeping tasks as required.
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills are typically acquired through 2-5 years experience in trade.
- Experience performing aircraft inspections, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair support activities.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
