Aircraft Maintenance Specialist (Onsite: Houston, TX)

The Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, under general supervision, performs routine aircraft maintenance, inspections, servicing, cleaning, and repair support activities to ensure aircraft are maintained in a safe, airworthy, and operational condition. This role supports both preventative and corrective maintenance efforts while adhering to company procedures and aviation safety standards.

• Pay Rate: Up to $40.00/hour, depending on experience
• Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: 20 to 30 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and duties to include:

• Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the corporate aircraft
• Ensure aircraft supplies are replenished and inventory kept
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians
• Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the departmental and executive vehicles
• Ensure all aircraft are properly stocked for all flights
• Assists in installing, servicing, and repairing of equipment related to Property Management.
• Completes plant maintenance documents, maintains tools and equipment, and performs clean-up and housekeeping tasks as required.
• Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Skills are typically acquired through 2-5 years experience in trade.
• Experience performing aircraft inspections, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repair support activities.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
