The Industrial Maintenance Technician under limited supervision, diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on numerical control, computerized numerical control, precision, and conventional machine tools, and other production equipment used in the development, manufacture, and testing of products.
- Pay Rate: $26.47 – $28.63/hour, depending on experience.
- Assignment Length: 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 1st Shift |Monday – Friday | Starting at 6:00 am | 40–60 hours/week
Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Areas of specialization may include: electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, NC repair, and machine tool rebuilding.
- Uses measuring instruments and diagnoses and makes general repairs to production equipment.
- Determines replacement parts as needed.
- Performs limited welding, basic plumbing, and or grinding activities.
- Works from prints and schematics.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills typically acquired through 2-3 years experience.
- Previous industrial maintenance experience (required).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
- Experience using diagnostic and measurement tools such as multimeters, megohmmeters, pressure and temperature gauges, and calipers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to prioritize work, stay organized, and work independently.
- High safety awareness, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and working around high-pressure, electrical, and high-temperature systems.
