Material Handler I (Onsite: Evansville, WY)

The Material Handler under direct supervision, assists in bulk loading, material delivery/loading, & packing.

• Pay Rate: Up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience
• Assignment Length: 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm | Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload bulk trucks, railcars, barges, flatbeds, and van trailers with the correct material grade and weight.
• Adheres to HSE guidelines and observes all safety rules and procedures.
• Load packaged materials, re-stack and shrink-wrap pallets, and complete all required shipping paperwork.
• Drive a forklift to move materials as needed.
• Routinely lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Help with manual labor tasks like mud building and preparation.
• Keep safety at the forefront of all activities and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Spend shifts working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Work weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than 10 hours when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Skills are typically acquired through completion of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Driver's license is required.
• CDL and Safeland certification is a plus.
• Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Punctual, dependable, and reachable by phone for scheduling.
• Motivated, positive attitude, and willing to work long hours when needed.
• Committed to following safety policies and wearing required protective gear.
• Ability to take direction and work closely with others in a team environment.
