Material Handler (Onsite: Roosevelt, UT)

The Material Handler I under direct supervision, safely and effectively runs forklift to load/unload trucks

• Pay Rate: Up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 5-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and move materials as needed.
• Assist with mud builds and comfortably work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Prioritize safety in all daily activities, strictly follow safety policies, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work effectively within a team dynamic and follow operational directions from supervisors.
• Commit to working flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts that may exceed 10 hours depending on operational needs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A valid Driver's license is required.
• Must have a Safeland Certification.
• Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
• Strong track record of following directions and maintaining high safety standards.
• Highly motivated, punctual (on-time), and accessible by phone for schedule changes or updates.
• Willing to work long hours and maintain a positive attitude under demanding conditions.
• Strong collaborative mindset with a focus on both safety and operational efficiency.
