Now, we’re on the lookout for a seasoned Paralegal to join our passionate Legal Team on a part-time basis (3–4 days/week). Reporting to our Head of Legal, you’ll take the lead on all things licensing, from food to liquor, and support our team across contracts, compliance, and legal operations. You’ll be a key player in a business and have real ownership, and impact. This is more than just a legal support role - it’s a chance to own your patch, work flexibly, and make a real difference.

What you’ll be serving up

• Take the reins on managing all premises licences (liquor, food, etc.) think timely renewals, ensuring compliance and accurate record keeping.
• Support contract creation, review and management, keeping systems sharp and up to date.
• Facilitate contract approval and execution process, ensuring efficient workflows
• Provide smart, practical legal research and assist with general legal and admin tasks.
• Be a trusted partner to internal teams
• Be the support to our Head of Legal as needed.

What you bring to the table

• 5+ years’ experience in a legal or compliance support role - either in-house or in private practice.
• Solid knowledge of legal contracts and matter management - bonus points for experience in food, liquor licensing, retail or FMCG.
• A proactive, solutions-first mindset and confidence working autonomously, building strong stakeholder relationships
• Sharp attention to detail, strong organisation, and a strive for meeting deadlines and getting into the details
• Clear, confident communication skills - you know how to collaborate and get things done across teams.
• The resilience and flexibility to juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving business.
