About the Role 💡 

As our People & Safety Coordinator, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, helping shape employee experiences and keeping our workplace safe, supported, and running smoothly.

This is the perfect opportunity for a recent grad (or early-career professional) who’s curious, organised, and passionate about people. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across HR, people systems, and workplace health & safety — building real-world experience that sets you up for a long-term career in People & Culture.

You’ll become the go-to support for employee lifecycle processes, safety systems, compliance, and internal platforms — learning how everything connects behind the scenes to create a great place to work.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

• Owning the day-to-day management of our People & Safety systems (Flare, Tanda, CultureAmp, Zendesk, DoneSafe).
• Being the first point of contact for general HR queries and systems support via our People Helpdesk.
• Drafting employment contracts, variations, statements of service, and key communications.
• Supporting exciting People projects alongside our People Partnering team.
• Helping maintain WHS systems, policies, and registers to keep our teams safe.
• Coordinating incident reporting, investigations, and follow-ups.
• Organising safety training, inductions, and compliance documentation.
• Assisting with workers compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Supporting policy updates and internal communications.
• Contributing to the smooth running of all People & Safety administration.

About You 🎯 

You might be a recent graduate or early in your career and ready to dive in. You’re curious, proactive, and love being organised.

• Qualification in HR, WHS, or a related field (or working towards). 
• 0–3 years’ experience in a People/HR, Safety, or Coordinator role. 
• Strong administrative and organisational skills. 
• High attention to detail and excellent time management. 
• Confident communicator with a professional, approachable style. 
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. 
• Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS and Microsoft tools.
