Our Story

Founded over 22 years ago, Grill’d started with a simple idea - to create healthy burgers that taste good and do good. Since then, we’ve grown from a single Melbourne restaurant into one of Australia’s most loved hospitality brands, with 180+ restaurants nationwide and exciting growth still ahead.

Grill’d is about more than burgers. From sustainability initiatives and community partnerships to innovation and restaurant growth, we’re passionate about creating experiences and making a positive impact for people and the planet AND we have fun while doing it.

As we continue to expand and evolve, we’re looking for a Talent Attraction & Onboarding Coordinator to join our Talent Team and help shape the next chapter of Grill’d.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Talent, this role will play a key part in supporting Grill’d’s continued growth and success.

With the support of the Talent Team you will partner with stakeholders across the business, bringing creativity and a solutions-focused mindset to help attract great talent, deliver exceptional onboarding experiences and strengthen Grill’d’s employer brand.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships and taking ownership of your work. If you're someone who is people focused and enjoys being organised and creative, we'd love to hear from you.

Sound good? Here are some of the things you'll be doing:

• Make an Impact: Support the delivery of Grill’d’s Talent Attraction and Employer Brand strategy through engaging recruitment marketing campaigns, employee storytelling, onboarding experiences and talent initiatives that help attract and retain great people.

• Be the Go-To Person: Support coordination of Support Office onboarding, recruitment marketing activities, talent content creation, recruitment systems administration and candidate communications, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers and new starters.

• Partner Across the Business: Work closely with Marketing, Creative, Hiring Managers, Restaurant Leaders and the broader People Team to deliver recruitment campaigns, onboarding programs, restaurant immersion experiences and employer brand initiatives.

• Drive Results: Manage administration including contracts, recruitment inbox enquiries, recruitment reporting, onboarding compliance, referral programs and recruitment support across both company-owned and franchise restaurants.

• Grow With Us: Develop your career within a growing Australian business that continues to invest in its people, culture, restaurants and future.

You'll also spend time working alongside our restaurant teams as part of your onboarding, giving you first-hand insight into the operations, people and culture that drive Grill’d's success.

Who We're Looking For:

• People Person: You've worked in recruitment, talent, onboarding, employer brand or people experience and genuinely love helping great people find, join and thrive in great roles.

• Relationship Building Guru: Whether it's a Restaurant Manager, Support Office leader or a new starter on day one, you build trust quickly, communicate with confidence and make people feel supported.

• Master Juggler: You love a checklist and can keep multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines moving without breaking a sweat. You're organised, detail-oriented and always one step ahead.

• Creative Problem Solver: You don't just spot problems, you bring solutions. You're full of ideas, enjoy creating engaging content and are always looking for ways to improve processes, experiences and how things get done.

• Systems-Savvy & Tech Curious: You're comfortable navigating recruitment and HR platforms such as LinkedIn, SEEK, LiveHire, Flare, Monday.com or similar systems, and ideally have experience using Canva, Adobe Express or other content creation tools.

• Growth Mindset: You're excited to learn, try new things, take on challenges and grow your career alongside a business that's continuing to expand nationally.

• Culture Add: Fun, down-to-earth, collaborative and full of positive energy. You're passionate about people and love being part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

Bonus Points If You Bring:

  • Experience creating content for social media, recruitment marketing or employer branding campaigns.
  • The ability to remain calm, adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • A knack for balancing creativity with exceptional attention to detail.

Why Grill’d?

• Flexible working arrangements including 1 day WFH per week.

• Structured onboarding, including immersive restaurant experience, giving you first-hand insight into the people, operations and culture that make Grill’d unique.
