What's involved

• Assist with leading a team of horticultural staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Horticultural maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and fertilising
• Maintaining ornamental gardens, hedges, lawns, and feature planting areas to premium presentation standard
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and irrigation systems safely and effectively
• Seasonal planting, turf renovation, and landscape improvement projects
• Identify and treat plant pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
• Collaborate with grounds and facilities staff to support events

About You 

This is an amazing opportunity if you are looking for the next stepping stone in your career or want to work at Green by Nature's prominent sites.

• You have a Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens and excellent working knowledge of all of the techniques, tools and equipment used in the field.
• You are willing to obtain a White Card, Working with Children's and a National Police check if you don't already have them.
• You pride yourself on your well-honed communication skills.
• Most importantly you have proven ability to effectively prioritise workflows, impart knowledge to others and be a mature and reliable team player.
