Begin a Fulfilling Career in Parks and Gardens

Join our four-year Apprentice Program and build a rewarding career in horticulture. Gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals, while attending weekly classroom sessions to develop your technical knowledge. The role is based in and around Berry.

Throughout the program, you’ll receive expert mentorship and practical training, working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification. On completion, you’ll be well-positioned to step into future opportunities such as Team Leader or Site Manager, equipped with the skills and confidence to succeed.

What You’ll Learn

• Plant identification, care, and maintenance
• Plant nutrition and soil management
• Pest and disease control techniques
• Irrigation system installation and maintenance
• Transplanting, pruning, and mowing operations
• Safe work practices and equipment operation

About You

• No prior experience required – just a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Driver’s licence (desirable, not essential)
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian citizenship (required to meet training eligibility criteria)
