🌱 Groundsperson – Grounds Maintenance

About the Role

Green by Nature is looking for a reliable and hands-on Groundsperson to join our team in St Lucia! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and has practical experience in grounds maintenance.

Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll help maintain outdoor areas to a high standard, with a strong focus on ride-on mowing, brush cutting and general grounds maintenance. We’re looking for someone who is confident operating outdoor equipment, has previous brush cutting experience and is committed to delivering quality results.

🌿 What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating ride-on mowers to maintain turf and grassed areas
• Brush cutting grass, weeds and overgrown areas
• Completing edging, trimming and general grounds maintenance
• Maintaining outdoor areas to a neat and presentable standard
• Using blowers and other grounds maintenance equipment
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
• Keeping paths and surrounding areas clean and tidy
• Loading and unloading tools, materials and equipment as required
• Following safe work practices and maintaining equipment in good condition

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, enjoys physical outdoor work and can confidently operate grounds maintenance equipment. You’ll take pride in your work, have a strong eye for detail and be happy working as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Previous brush cutting experience – essential
• Experience operating ride-on mowers
• Practical experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or similar outdoor work
• Current driver’s licence – essential
• Current Blue Card (Working With Children Check) – essential
• Current White Card – essential
• A strong work ethic and reliable approach to work
• The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
• The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
