π About the Role
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of key government maintenance contracts, leading both the client relationship and operational delivery from end to end.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager or Operations Manager with a background in turf, horticulture or landscape maintenance to make a real impact. Working closely with clients, supervisors, subcontractors and internal teams, you'll ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and long-term growth.
Your leadership, operational expertise and customer-first approach will be instrumental in driving performance, developing high-performing teams and building lasting client partnerships.
Please note that this role will be based in our depot in Ormeau.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of grounds, turf and garden maintenance services across a portfolio of government sites.
- Interpret and deliver contract scopes, specifications and service level requirements.
- Lead, mentor and support Supervisors and operational teams through effective coaching, onboarding and ongoing development.
- Monitor contract performance, budgets, work schedules and operational outcomes to ensure successful delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, proactive problem-solving and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare accurate quotations and variations in line with client requirements and agreed timeframes.
- Coordinate materials, machinery, subcontractors and other operational resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reporting and contract documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve client assets, operational processes and service delivery outcomes.
- Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, industry legislation and Green by Nature's quality and safety standards.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients and key stakeholders.
- Drive a positive safety culture while driving operational excellence across your portfolio.

What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in a Contract Management, Operations Management or similar leadership role.
- Strong background in turf, horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts, operational delivery, budgets and resources.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, develop and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with sound decision-making abilities.

- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
