Lead the Care of Iconic Green Spaces
This role will see you take ownership of the beautiful grounds in and around Lennox Head, overseeing all aspects of site operations. From planning and resourcing to client engagement and team leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality horticultural outcomes.
About You
You are a qualified horticulturist with a strong background maintaining high-profile or high-detail garden sites.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Confident managing performance and supporting the successful training of apprentices
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with solid computer literacy
- Valid White Card and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check (mandatory for this site)
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support a team to consistently meet and exceed client expectations
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all horticultural activities including planting, detailed pruning, hedging, fertilising, and pest control
- Build strong relationships with the client, providing expert advice and responsive service
- Conduct site assessments, develop work plans, and allocate resources effectively
- Implement and manage seasonal turf and weed control programs
- Oversee tools, equipment, and inventory management
- Provide regular (monthly) reporting to management
- Champion and embed a strong safety culture across the team
