This is an exciting opportunity to manage the stunning grounds of Point Wollstoncroft, overseeing all aspects of site operations. From planning and resourcing to client engagement and team leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality horticultural services.

About You

You’re a passionate and experienced horticultural professional who thrives in a leadership role.

  • Qualified horticulturist with experience across high-quality garden sites
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Strong organisational and computer skills
  • Comfortable managing performance and supporting apprentice development
  • Hold (or willing to obtain):
  • White Card
  • Working With Children Check
  • National Police Check (essential for this site)
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused—you enjoy a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support your team to consistently meet and exceed client expectations
  • Plan and oversee all horticultural activities including planting, detailed pruning, hedging, fertilising, and pest control
  • Partner with the client to understand needs, provide recommendations, and build strong relationships
  • Conduct site assessments, develop work plans, and allocate resources effectively
  • Deliver seasonal turf and weed management programs
  • Manage tools, equipment, and inventory
  • Provide monthly reporting to management
  • Champion a strong safety culture across all site activities
