Mowing Operator - City of Greater Bendigo

• Monday - Friday (No Weekends)
• Work based around City of Bendigo
• Company vehicle provided

About the Role

As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities:

• Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of Knox
• Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed spraying
• Safely operating and maintaining machinery
• Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
• Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery

 About You

• Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence
• Ride on Mower experience essential
• Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
• Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment
• Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
