Garden Maintenance Team Leader

Are you a passionate horticulturalist who takes pride in creating and maintaining exceptional landscapes?

We're seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join our team, leading an established maintenance run across a portfolio of high-profile and award-winning landscape sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on horticulture, leading by example and delivering outstanding results for valued clients.

While the sites you'll maintain are not residential properties, this role will particularly suit someone who has developed their skills in high-end residential garden maintenance and is looking to apply that level of plant knowledge, presentation and attention to detail across prestigious landscape environments.

About the Role

As a Garden Maintenance Team Leader, you'll lead a small team responsible for delivering detailed horticultural maintenance to an exceptional standard. You'll work across a well-established run with longstanding clients, ensuring landscapes continue to thrive and present at their very best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a garden maintenance team.
  • Perform detailed horticultural maintenance across premium landscape sites.
  • Pruning, hedging, planting, mulching, weed and pest management.
  • Monitor plant health and recommend improvements where required.
  • Ensure sites consistently meet the highest presentation standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain equipment, safety standards and daily work programmes.
  • Champion safe work practices and quality outcomes.

About You

  • Proven experience in horticulture, landscaping or garden maintenance.
  • Strong plant identification and horticultural knowledge.
  • Experience maintaining high-quality landscapes or gardens.
  • A background in premium residential garden maintenance will be highly regarded.
  • Previous leadership experience or the ability to lead and develop others.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence.

What's on Offer?

  • Work on high-profile and award-winning landscape sites.
  • Established maintenance run with longstanding key clients.
  • Tool of trade vehicle provided.
  • Supportive team environment with opportunities for career development.
  • Variety, autonomy and responsibility in your day-to-day work.
  • Join a team that values quality workmanship, safety and professional growth.

If you're a horticultural professional looking to take the next step in your career and work on some of the region's most prestigious landscape sites, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now.
