About the Role

Reporting to the QLD Regional Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end management of maintenance contracts across multiple facilities.

Combining operational leadership with strong horticultural and turf expertise, you will lead teams, manage client relationships and ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day turf, garden and grounds maintenance operations across multiple sites
  • Lead, support and develop operational teams, including onboarding, training and performance management
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams
  • Monitor contract performance, service standards, budgets and operational priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, presentation and functionality of client spaces
  • Prepare accurate quotes and coordinate additional works
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities and contract deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, industry regulations and company standards
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency and contract growth

About You

You are a confident, hands-on leader with experience managing turf, horticultural, landscaping or grounds maintenance operations. You understand how to balance people leadership, commercial requirements and client expectations while maintaining exceptional service standards.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in contract, operational or service delivery management
  • Strong knowledge of turf, horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness, including quoting, resource planning and contract performance
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
  • A genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Relevant qualifications in horticulture, turf management or a related field will be highly regarded
