What's involved

• Lead and develop team members and apprentices
• Work hands-on work with your team in daily garden maintenance tasks
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles
• Report progress, issues, and requirements to management
• Pest and disease identification and treatment
• Foster a culture of safety

What you’ll bring:

You will be a mature and reliable leader with high attention to detail. You enjoy being hands on with your team and passing on your extensive knowledge and experience to others.

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or relevant equivalent experience
• Proven ability to effectively prioritise work and develop junior team members
• Sound practical experience with a variety of tools and equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, blowers, hand tools and petrol operated equipment
• Current driver's licence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
