Green by Nature is looking for a reliable and motivated Roadside Maintenance Operator to join our night shift team working across various roadside sites in the Ipswich central region. Please note that some day shift work may be required.

🌱 What You'll Be Doing

You'll be working across a range of roadside locations helping to keep public spaces safe, tidy, and well maintained:

🌿 Brush cutting and mowing roadside vegetation and open spaces

🚜 Operating zero-turn mowers, brush cutters, and related equipment safely and efficiently

🛣️ Working in proximity to live traffic (traffic awareness / working near traffic training required & provided if needed)

🛠️ Completing basic equipment checks and maintenance

📋 Carrying out scheduled maintenance and service requests across multiple Ipswich roadside sites

🦺 Following strict safety procedures at all times

🤝 Working as part of a supportive team on night shift operations

🌙 About the Role

🌃 Night shift role (day shift experience is welcome, night shift experience is beneficial but not essential)

📍 Ipswich-based with travel across various roadside sites in the central region

🚗 Working across multiple locations each shift

✅ What We’re Looking For

✔️ Experience in brush cutting and/or roadside mowing

✔️ Ability to operate commercial mowing equipment safely

✔️ Current Manual Driver Licence

✔️ Construction White Card

✔️ Traffic Management experience highly regarded (not essential)

✔️ Willingness to work night shifts

✔️ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

✔️ Strong focus on safety, reliability, and attention to detail

✔️ Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
