We’re looking for a HR Business Partner to join our collaborative People & Organisational Development (P&OD) team. This is a hands-on role, working in partnership with Operations across QLD, NT and WA, supporting a large, dispersed frontline workforce, with a strong focus on performance, case management, and leader support.
In this role, you’ll:
- Partner with operational leaders to align workforce strategies with business goals and drive performance, accountability, and workforce outcomes
- Coach and advise leaders on managing underperformance, conduct issues, and team dynamics
- Support organisational change and workforce planning initiatives
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance, and compliance matters, and manage complex cases end-to-end
- Support engagement and culture initiatives in partnership with the broader OD team
- Influence leadership capability in partnership with the broader OD team
- Champion continuous improvement across HR systems, processes, and practices
What you’ll bring:
- 8+ years’ HR experience (ideally generalist or BP) gained in operational or industrial environments
- Strong track record managing complex ER and performance cases end-to-end
- Ability to coach and influence leaders and support change
- Sound judgement, resilience, and collaboration skills, with a pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach
