About the Role

As an Outdoor Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and enhancing benches, seating and decking around the City of Sydney parks and open spaces.

This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced handyperson with a knack for painting and loves to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recommend and conduct light repairs to outdoor infrastructure including such as public seating, benches and decking
• Operate and maintain a variety of power and hand tools, materials and equipment
• Adhere to and promote a safety-first work environment

About You

You have proven yourself to have a strong work ethic and enjoy working with minimal supervision. You are passionate about ensuring your work is completed to the highest standards.

• 3+ years’ handyman or general maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of outdoor painting, sealants & staining techniques
• Basic joinery/carpentry skills
• Physically fit with a desire to work outdoors
• White Card & Driver’s Licence are essential
