Green by Nature is seeking a Small Engine Mechnic- Turf & Grounds Equipment to maintain and repair turf, mowing and small-plant machinery in our Brisbane workshop. This is a full-time Monday–Friday position with early starts and finishes, a supplied vehicle, PPE, uniform and tools — giving you everything you need to perform at your best.

This role suits mechanics who enjoy variety, autonomy and hands-on problem solving, and who want predictable hours without weekend work.

What You’ll Work On

• Cylinder mowers, ride-ons and turf equipment
• Tractors, sprayers and utility vehicles
• Small-plant equipment: blowers, trimmers, chainsaws
• Light vehicle servicing
• Mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical diagnostics

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Preventative servicing and repairs across a varied fleet
• Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Conducting mobile/onsite repairs when required
• Keeping accurate service records, parts usage and workshop housekeeping
• Ensuring safe work practices and WHS compliance
• Supporting field crews with reliable, ready-to-use machinery

What You Bring

• Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Diagnostic capability across petrol, diesel, hydraulic + electrical systems
• Strong problem solving and practical judgement
• Manual driver’s licence (towing ability an advantage)
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Pride in delivering safe, high-quality work
