Mowing & Brushcutting Team Member

• Permanent full-time position (Monday-Friday)
• Depot based in Dandenong South
• Full PPE & uniform provided 

About the Role

As a Mower / Brushcutter Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides around the City of Casey.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.

• Ability to operate front deck mowers or Zero Turn Mowers and Push Mowers and brush cutters
• Perform routine prestart checks on your daily equipment
• Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
• Complete horticultural tasks as required based our contract
• Follow and practice safety protocols and procedures

About You

• Experience in Horticulture, lawn care and maintenance. Qualifications preferred.
• Manual Drivers licence (preferred)
• Ride on Mower experience of Council Controlled sites will be highly regarded
• Current Working with Children check & Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
