Groundsperson – Garden Maintenance

About the Role

At Green by Nature, we're looking for a motivated and reliable Groundsperson to join our team and help maintain exceptional outdoor spaces across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Based out of Salisbury, this is a mobile role servicing a variety of sites throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You'll be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services while contributing to safe, well-presented outdoor environments.

This role requires someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is flexible enough to support both our maintenance operations and Variations Team as required. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of garden and grounds maintenance activities, including:
• Lawn mowing
• Brushcutting
• Hedge trimming
• Weeding and pruning
• General garden maintenance
• Safely operate hand tools and powered equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport plants, materials, and equipment as required.
• Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Assist the Variations Team with landscaping and enhancement projects when required.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• Deliver high-quality work while working collaboratively with team members and clients.

About You

• Previous experience in landscaping, garden maintenance, horticulture, grounds maintenance, or a related field is highly regarded.
• Experience with lawn mowing, brushcutting, and hedge trimming is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support both maintenance operations and the Variations Team as required.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality work safely and efficiently.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Current and valid Driver Licence.
• Current White Card.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC/Blue Card), or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement.
