About the role

This is a unique and dynamic opportunity for a passionate and skilled turf professional to join our elite team, working across three of Sydney’s premier high-performance sports training venues located at Moore Park. You will play a key role in the preparation and maintenance of surfaces used by professional NRL and AFL clubs, working closely with coaching staff, performance teams, and club operations.

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.
Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.
Operate and maintain specialised turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.

About You

You have successfully completed a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and have recent experience in turf management and/or greenkeeping.

If you have cricket wicket experience this will be highly regarded.

You are proud of your knowledge levels when it comes to turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.

You are familiar with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
