About the Role
As a Garden Maintenance Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other team members to ensure our client's standards of garden maintenance are not only met but exceeded. This role is split across sites in Granville, Eastern Creek and St Mary's - you will not have time to get bored with the varied work you will undertake at each site.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage day to day activities of a team of garden maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning and fertilising.
- Provide guidance and on the job training to team members to increase enhance their horticultural skills and knowledge.
- Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
- Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

About You
You are currently working in a garden maintenance role and have a desire to move into a supervisory role. The skills and experience you have gained, coupled with your excellent communication skills will set you up to thrive in this role.
Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens or 5 years of proven hands on experience is required.
You need to have a white card, valid drivers licence and a Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
