Green by Nature has a 120-year legacy in constructing, nurturing, and maintaining exceptional green spaces.

We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic Learning & Development Coordinator to join us on a permanent, full-time basis based in our Botany NSW office (with flexible working). The L&D Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the organisation’s Apprenticeship Program as well as supporting the seamless delivery of learning solutions across Green by Nature.

What You’ll Be Doing

Using your strong administration and coordination skills, you will ensure the Apprenticeship Program is running smoothly, creating a positive experience for all of our apprentices. You will also play a key role in effectively coordinating learning programs, ensuring they align with business requirements.

 Your responsibilities will include:

·        Overseeing the administration of the Apprenticeship Program – this includes liaising with external providers (educational institutions, Network Providers, Government Agencies) to ensure all paperwork is completed and in order. You will ensure all funding is processed and received as per State and Federal requirements, and reconciled accurately and in a timely manner. And you will liaise with our apprentices and their leaders to ensure our apprentices are supported and have a positive apprenticeship experience.

·        Coordinating Training & Development – coordinating both internally and externally delivered training: managing venues, assisting with travel requirements, calendar invitations and tracking, catering, on-the-day set-up, material preparation, gathering and collating feedback.

·        Administration and system support – managing various shared mailboxes, and administering various systems such as the HRIS and LMS. You will also assist with ensuring accurate record-keeping and document management.

·        Driving Process Improvement – continuously reviewing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting efficiencies to ensure our L&D practices are always best-in-class.

About You

This role is perfect for a highly organised administrator or coordinator with a keen interest in Learning and Development or previous exposure to HR. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

·        Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency.

·        Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with managers and employees at all levels of the business.

·        A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges, understanding the role’s broader impact within the people team.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms, with the ability to navigate systems quickly and efficiently.

·        Strong relationship-building skills, fostering professional connections with team members, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience in an administration or coordination role. A qualification in HR, Adult Education or a related discipline is preferred but not essential, and previous exposure to RTO administrative and compliance requirements will be highly regarded.

What's In It For You?

You will be joining a hardworking and fun team; we are motivated to work hard all while having a laugh. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to not just L&D but all segments of HR. You will receive a laptop and work phone and will have access to flexible working options, as well as the chance to contribute to exciting and diverse projects within an inclusive team environment.

If you’re ready to step into a role where you can make a difference and help our people grow, we’d love to hear from you!
