Natural Areas Team Member

We are seeking motivated Bush Regeneration Team Members to join our team in Ipswich. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside experienced team members to restore, maintain, and enhance natural areas, helping to protect and improve local ecosystems.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about the environment, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working outdoors in a physically active role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance and enhancement of natural areas and bushland environments.
• Identify native plant species and weeds and support effective vegetation management activities.
• Safely operate a range of gardening and vegetation management equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Complete service requests and assigned tasks to a high standard.
• Follow environmental, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver quality outcomes across various sites.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in bush regeneration, landscaping, environmental services, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of native plant and weed identification.
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Current White Card.
• ACDC qualification (desirable).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental best practice.
