Irrigation Technician- City of Port Phillip

About Role

Green by Nature is seeking a dedicated and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team.

Reporting to the Irrigation Manager, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, helping deliver outstanding green space results across the City of Port Philip.

Responsibilities 

• Install, program, maintain, and repair irrigation systems
• Interpret and work from irrigation plans and drawings
• Conduct regular audits and implement irrigation programs
• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs
• Maintain accurate records and provide system reports
• Ensure systems are event-ready through pre- and post-irrigation audits
• Work collaboratively within a professional, safety-first team
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with industry best practices, WHS regulations, and company quality systems.

About You 

• Certificate III Irrigation Technology (Preferred)
• Proven hands-on experience installing, servicing and repairing irrigation systems,
• Must have a current driver's licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• Your ability to read and interpret irrigation drawings and plans
• You have a proactive mindset and unwavering commitment to high-quality work
