Garden & Lawn Maintenance Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Team Leader with strong horticultural expertise to lead a team in maintaining gardens and lawns to deliver high-quality, well-presented green spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team to deliver high-quality garden and lawn maintenance services
• Plan and allocate daily tasks to ensure efficient completion of work across sites
• Carry out general maintenance duties including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and fertilising
• Maintain lawns, gardens, hedges, and landscape areas to a high presentation standard
• Operate and maintain gardening equipment and machinery safely and effectively
• Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and support to team members
• Monitor site conditions and identify plant pests, diseases, and maintenance issues
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures

About You

• You have experience in garden and lawn maintenance, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• You are confident leading teams and motivating others
• You are comfortable working outdoors and undertaking physical work
• You hold a valid driver’s licence
• You are reliable, organised, and able to manage time and priorities effectively
• You hold a qualification in Horticulture or bring extensive relevant industry experience (both highly regarded)
