Choose Your Pathway

Parks & Gardens / Horticulture

Learn how to:

• Care for plants, trees and gardens
• Maintain turf and landscaped areas
• Use horticultural equipment and machinery
• Carry out planting, pruning and seasonal maintenance
• Conduct irrigation checks and basic repairs

Sports Turf Management

Learn how to:

• Prepare and maintain sports fields and playing surfaces
• Renovate and restore turf areas
• Operate specialist turf equipment
• Support field setup for training and match days
• Work across school grounds, sports facilities and open spaces

What You Need

• Commitment to completing a multi-year apprenticeship
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work
• Willingness to attend structured TAFE or RTO training
• Driver’s licence is helpful but not essential
• A positive attitude and interest in learning a trade
