Learn how to:
- Care for plants, trees and gardens
- Maintain turf and landscaped areas
- Use horticultural equipment and machinery
- Carry out planting, pruning and seasonal maintenance
- Conduct irrigation checks and basic repairs
Sports Turf Management
Learn how to:
- Prepare and maintain sports fields and playing surfaces
- Renovate and restore turf areas
- Operate specialist turf equipment
- Support field setup for training and match days
- Work across school grounds, sports facilities and open spaces
What You Need
- Commitment to completing a multi-year apprenticeship
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work
- Willingness to attend structured TAFE or RTO training
- Driver’s licence is helpful but not essential
- A positive attitude and interest in learning a trade
