You’ll join a friendly, supportive team responsible for maintaining established gardens, lawns, plantings and open spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and wants a stable Monday–Friday position with no weekend rosters.
Uniforms, PPE and equipment are provided, and you’ll have access to experienced horticulturists and supervisors who support your development.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role you’ll carry out day-to-day horticulture and garden maintenance tasks including:
- Maintaining garden beds, plantings, turf areas and open spaces
- Pruning, planting, mulching and seasonal horticultural work
- Operating horticultural equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Conducting irrigation checks, basic adjustments and site inspections
- Supporting landscape improvement and presentation standards
- Following WHS, environmental and site procedures
- Working collaboratively with your team and engaging professionally with park stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience in garden or horticultural maintenance
- Ability to use horticulture tools and equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation standards
- Reliability, good communication skills and a team mindset
